Controller
Mantis Solver is responsible for the personal data described in this notice. For now we handle privacy matters by email only. For any privacy matter write to contact@mantissolver.com.
What data we process
User accounts: username, role, an optional email address, and a password stored only as a cryptographic hash.
Data the institution uploads: campuses, shifts, groups, courses, rooms and, for teachers, their name, the subjects they teach, availability and workload. The tool works with groups and does not need personal data about individual students.
Results: the generated timetables and PDF reports.
Technical records: an audit log of authenticated users' actions and the server logs needed for security and for running the service.
Contact form: name, email address and institution, and optionally the approximate number of campuses and groups and a message, when you send them through the form on this page.
What we use it for
Only to provide the service: authenticating users, generating and showing timetables, producing reports and keeping the service secure. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Data from the contact form is used only to reply to your request. We keep it while we deal with it and for up to 12 months afterwards, then delete it.
Who it is shared with
With the infrastructure and network providers needed to run the site (for example Cloudflare's content delivery and tunnel services, which can process traffic on servers outside Mexico). We do not share one institution's data with another.
Security
Access is limited by role within each institution, connections use HTTPS and passwords are not stored in clear text. No system is infallible; if we detect an incident affecting your data, we will tell you.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by writing to contact@mantissolver.com. The institution that signs up for the service can also ask for its data to be deleted.
